On December 10, 2024, our school hosted a Harry Potter-themed Model United Nations Conference (HPMUN I), bringing together our girls for a day filled with magic and diplomacy. The event aimed to engage participants in the realms of international relations while immersing them in the enchanting world of Harry Potter.
Delegates represented iconic characters and engaged in debates on how to improve Hogwarts. The conference was charged with enthusiasm as our S1-S3 girls embraced their assigned Harry Potter roles, showcasing their debate and public speaking skills. An awards ceremony at the end of the event recognized 3B Karis Chan and 1C Kaylee Ho as Best Delegation for their contributions.
The event was not only educational but also a fantastic opportunity for our girls to understand what a Model United Nations conference entails and develop essential skills in a fun and inclusive environment. We thank everyone who participated and contributed to making HPMUN I a success, and we hope it will pave the way for future innovative events.
