On Dec 3, the Library Society and the Civic Education Association visited Beibei Bookhouse, a bookstore located in a field in Kam Tin. We enjoyed walking in the fields with the farmer, having some homemade refreshments, and reading books on that beautiful day.
Students felt calm and relaxed. Here are some of the students’ reflections.

在比比書屋中，我體會到了讀書帶來的樂趣——不為功利，不為考試，只是享受知識本身。我們品嘗了馬拉糕和茶的美味，配上書，簡直實現我小時侯對讀書的幻想。其實，重點不在於食物的美味程度或書的內容有多深奧，而是在於心中的那份寧靜，我理解到「淡泊明志，寧靜致遠」的含意，只有在比比書屋這樣的環境下，內心才能真正平靜下來，毫無雜念吧。

在田園書屋體驗感受最深刻的是，在書屋裏一邊享用店員自己做的點心和茶，一邊與朋友分享看書心得的情景。書屋裏瀰漫著花香，還有各式各樣的書籍可供閱讀和購買，在這樣寧靜的環境下看書，令我感覺心裏很平靜和放鬆，像一個遠離世間繁事的獨立空間一般。
