On February 8-9, six of our S3 girls attended the HKISMUN conference, themed “Chasing the Light.” Their willingness to gain MUN experience even during the Chinese New Year holiday certainly impressed us. For some, this was their very first MUN conference; for others, they were in a single delegation for the first time.
In debating about issues such as blood diamonds and child soldiers, all of them showed remarkable growth, having increased courage to speak up and handling POIs directed at them. We are incredibly proud that they have learned so much at HKISMUN and look forward to seeing them apply their experience in future MUN conferences.
