In collaboration with the St. James’ Settlement (聖雅各福群會), the S3-S5 members of Community Youth Club were led by the social workers to pay home visits to singletons and hidden elderly with chronic diseases. During the home visits, goodie bags and anti-epidemic supplies were distributed to extend love and care of the young people for the elderly. Through this service learning activity, participants can brush up on their communication skills and understand the needs and challenges of singleton elderly. At the same time, students are motivated to devote more time and effort in helping the underprivileged while living out the True Light girls’ spirit of “To be willing to sacrifice and serve”.
