True Light Alumni Mentorship Programme (TLamp) is a one-year programme. The programme not only provides careers-related experience to students, but also acts as a bridge between school and community through experience and knowledge sharing by mentors so as to better prepare the mentees for their long-term personal and career development.
The 11th TLamp Closing Ceremony was successfully held at True Light Chapel in the afternoon on 22nd April 2023. At that time, mentors and mentees reviewed different activities in the past year together. It was heartwarming and touching. After that, the mentee representative delivered her vote of thanks and conducted sharing with her mentors and other group members. The theme of the sharing is TLamp under COVID-19. Since their group mentors are a scientist and a nurse, they were unable to conduct any company visits during the COVID-19 period. Instead, their mentors organized some artistic and sports activities such as tufting and trampoline in order to help mentees release their stress. Both mentors and mentees treasured this year so much.
Lastly, mentees expressed their gratitude to the mentors by presenting thank-you cards and gifts. Although the 11th TLamp has come to an end, it is believed that the relationships between mentors and mentees continue to grow.
