This year’s Christmas Carol was a vibrant celebration filled with music, dance, and inspiring true stories. The event was themed “Lights Up!”, symbolizing the birth of Jesus Christ as a beacon of light and hope in the darkness. The celebration was greatly enriched by the presence of the Watoto Children’s Choir from Africa, who shared uplifting worship music and powerful stories of resilience and hope.
Our kindergarteners and the primary school choirs also brought us delightful performances, reminding us of the unity and love that Jesus brings to the world.
The evening concluded with a call to support Watoto’s mission, encouraging everyone to contribute through donations and a charity sale, with support from parent volunteers. In the spirit of giving, our school community raised over $380,000 in Christmas donations, which will be distributed to various charitable organizations, including Watoto. This act of generosity reflects our commitment to spreading love and hope to those in need.
