In the QianHai competition, we have designed a product called WheelX, a wheelchair with multiple useful features. Specifically, WheelX has a navigation function to help users find the nearest accessible toilet on the street, a voice activated system that provides users daily life information such as the weather as well as emergency contacts.
Living in a technological society, we believe that we should make use of digital devices to help wheelchair users. Although there are already a lot of wheelchair models in the market, hardly can they adequately fulfill users’ needs and expectations. After much consideration, we designed WheelX that provides services that put users’ needs in the first priority.
We have learnt a lot in this competition. We realised that time management is very important in that we have to finish a lot of difficult tasks in limited time. After participating in this competition, I think we have raised our working productivity and become more efficient.
From this competition, we have learnt a valuable lesson: to contribute to society and help as many people as we could. In the future, we will continue to put our hearts and souls into serving our society.
